Compress Database
Access this feature from the Options Menu.
Compressing the database is not required very often. Probably not more often than once or twice per year. Or if you have deleted many entries, you may want to run this process. The database is stored in the VIP.TPS file. After you compress the database, that file may be somewhat smaller in size.
If you encounter error messages when running this process, you may be able to utilize the advanced repair utility included with some versions of FleetVIP. The file is named RepairVIP.exe and is located in the FleetVIP installation folder.
Please backup the database before running the compress process.
